If you’re serious about your health and wellness, assessments tests are considered the starting point for designing a personalized program. Likewise, these tests can also help people understand any risks for developing chronic conditions before symptoms are present, while they can still take action.
At Connexus Clinic, we use a number of advanced diagnostic tools that help us know where you are so we can help you reach your goals more efficiently and effectively.
Weight loss goals and general fitness goals have become entirely more attainable with some of the technology that has only recently become available. 3D body scanning is one of those tools.
At Connexus Clinic, we use the state-of-the-art Fit3D Proscanner. With incredibly accurate and consistent imaging, this non-invasive, near-infrared 360˚ 3D body scanner will produce precise body measurements in under a minute.
The entire process begins with stepping onto the 3D body scanning platform, grabbing onto the handles, and standing as still as you can for about 40 seconds. The platform will rotate as the sensor moves up and down, scanning every inch of your body to get the most accurate results. In less than a minute, the Fit3D Proscanner will extract more than 400 measurements including circumferences, heights, lengths, widths, volumes, and surface areas from your entire body. The most important of these measurements are mapped onto a 3D image and can be used in wellness assessments to show progress and analyze what needs improvement.
A comprehensive report is emailed to you within 5 to 10 minutes of scan completion, and our trained technicians are always available to answer questions regarding the scan and information gathered as well.
When people think of metabolism, they generally associate it with weight loss. Most believe that if you have a high metabolism, it’s easier to maintain a healthier weight than those with a low metabolism. But metabolism is much more than that. metabolism is also responsible for just keeping you alive during day-to-day activities whether you’re active, eating, or sitting on the couch. Other bodily functions such as breathing, thinking, your heart beating, and digestion are part of the chemical processes that make up metabolism because they keep you alive and functioning at all times.
With this in mind then, metabolic analysis is a way to understand your body better as well as learn about the best ways to lose weight and maintain your ideal weight once you have it.
Whether you are looking to lose weight, improve your performance, recover from an injury, or simply live a longer, stronger life, metabolic analysis allows us to create a truly personalized plan tailored specifically to your metabolism.
